REEL TALK RETURNS TO HOLLYWOODBenjamin Budzak and Ryan Summers host Demo Reel night in Hollywood
Throughout the year, the regular meetup scheduled in the heart of Hollywood, CA at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater focuses on creative presentations from community leaders. Once a year, motion designer Benjamin Budzak hosts a review panel with a special guest. JUNE 21's meeting will feature, motion designer and VFX director Ryan Summers.
They continue to support the community by offering their insights and professional experience to other artists who are looking to improve their demo reels.
Also speaking on June 21, is Creative Director Arvin Bautista of Greasy Pig Studios. Arvin will present various shots from two recent music videos that his studio produced.

Digital Media Artists / Los Angeles (DMA/LA) is a user group for video creatives of all kind. MGLA was formed in August 1997 through the merger of several previously-existing groups. DMA/LA is the next evolution, continuing in 2008. DMA/LA�??s area of discussions are not restricted to a specific hardware or software solution, understanding that an artist often has to employ multiple tools to realize their vision. DMALA meets to discuss different topics on the third Tuesday of the month.
Ko Maruyama is a freelance animator in Los Angeles. In addition to working on film and broadcast animations, Ko teaches at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design - focusing on motion design. When working, writing or testing software allows, you can find him lending a hand in the After Effects board and lurking among the Cinema4D, Visual Effects and Photoshop posts within the DMNForums.
